So, then there was this.

My name is Tormod Haugen and I am a young man - currently born, raised, living and working at the western coast of Norway. This has not always been so, and will probably change again over the course of my life. Hopefully not the born and raised part.

I am just over 30 years of age, gifted with logic, humor, The Girl, a daughter, a son and another daughter. The Girl is about my age, and I love her dearly. The daughters and son is quite a bit younger (from 8 to zero years old) and I love them dearly too, although in a different way.

I’m working for Bouvet, in the Haugesund branch. I started here recently; June 2007. Until then I had been working for a company in Bergen, named Dataloy Systems AS, since early January 2007. Before that (again) I were working for the Norwegian Government on a new land cadaster system, which are being released in the wild in production after a extended pilot period. Version 1.0 were released a mere day before I ended my time there.

I’ve been blogging on and off (mostly off, it seems) since January 2001, making me one of the first bloggers in Norway, though not one of the more known. Probably since I start and end project like other people change socks. I plan on resurrecting my archives… soon. Have a snapshot at the Wayback machine:
